On Capitol Hill, Republicans are vowing to push for deeper spending cuts as Congress takes up President Obama’s $3.7 trillion proposed budget. Republican leaders say Obama’s plan does not go far enough in trimming the federal deficit. The proposal includes a record base budget of $553 billion for the Pentagon as well as widespread cuts to social programs, including heating assistance for the poor. On Tuesday, House Majority Leader John Boehner sparked controversy after shrugging off the prospect that spending cuts will leave thousands of government workers unemployed. Boehner said, "So be it." Boehner went on to add that funding for Social Security and Medicare could also be targeted, saying, "Republicans will not punt. Everything is on the table."

But alas when the pentagon budget came into view Boehner fought to keep HIS Blessed F-35 engine project alive even though the pentagon and Secretary of Defense said they didnt want it! You see the plant that makes the engine is in the esteemed Speakers district, $450 million dollars of PORK PORK PORK. The house defeated it cutting Mr Boehners PORK I guess thats worth a good cry John. Thousand ofworkers loosing their jobs in this economy, OK But dont cut his HIS PORK. Speaker Boehner you are one of the 3 little little pigs and must go.





Senator Mitch McConnell (Kentucky )


This really proves my point that these "Professionals' have to go.

The minority leader of OUR Senate Mitch McConnell From Kentucky in office way to long had this to say about his job!

Believing that the Republican strategy of opposition has played to his political benefit, McConnell is pledging to do more of the same if Republicans win back the Senate. In an interview with the National Journal’s Major Garrett, McConnell candidly acknowledged that he feels his “single most important” job is to defeat President Obama in 2012:

MCCONNELL: We need to be honest with the public. This election is about them, not us. And we need to treat this election as the first step in retaking the government. We need to say to everyone on Election Day, “Those of you who helped make this a good day, you need to go out and help us finish the job.”

NATIONAL JOURNAL: What’s the job?

MCCONNELL: The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.

The most important job he has! These folks have lost sight of the reason that they are there. The people will decide if Obama is going to serve another term. McConnell is there to represent his constituents, be of service and attempt to better this country...how about the economy and the fact that the unemployment rate is % 10, or any number of issues that face the United States of America. But no, his focus is on a re-election not even his own or this one, but one that comes in 2 years.
Vote these self serving idiots out of office.

This is frightening

She quotes... 'We need to work toward the goal of equalizing income, in our country and at the same time limiting the amount the rich can invest.'

When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied: 'We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long way to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as 'Americans'.'

 (Read that quote again and again and let it sink in. 'Lower your retirement, give it to others who have not worked as you have for it'.

While I believe many people are way over payed  for the jobs they do and some deserve much more in this star struck nation. Having some *demagogue attempt to correct this is a scary thought.
